Mower deck Troy bilt bronco stalls

Troy bilt bronco stalls when tranie and deck engaged runs good separate belt good al most new all pulleys free mandrels free, engin just tuned up .. I am at a lost

Might be a deck safety switch gone bad or dirty, the one that is supposed to shut it off if you put it in reverse with the pto on.
