I have a question for a different STX 38. It is a Hydro with a black deck. It had sat out all last summer and most of the fall. I have gotten it running well. The only problem is when I push or pull the hydro. It is going forward pretty well, but pulling it into reverse is extremely hard. Is there something I can do to remedy this? Anywhere to grease? Any input is again appreciated! ( I have three of these and am trying to get them all fixed)

If the hydro lever is moving hard there could be rust on the linkage causing problems, or if the lever moves freely then there could be air in the hydro and will need to be bleed out. Raise rear wheels off ground and start engine and move lever from forward and reverse to bleed the air.

Thanks! I got it. Took the tire off and squirted a little WD on the linkage. Ran it a little bit and it came loose...I am pretty relieved..
