Hey all,new dilemma.Lately my "stick" has developed an attitude. As I am using her to weed eat, she'll cut off like it ran out of gas. This happens after about a good 10-15 mins in.Fuel filter is ok,new plug & air filter.Have ALWAYS used tru fuel in it.Sounds like a carb issue?

Sounds like a venting problem causedby a bad fuel cap / blocked vent
Fuel tank should run at about 3 to 5 psi pressure
so when it stops rip the fuel line TO the carb off
Fuel should gush out of the tube and should stop flowing when you loosen the fuel cap .

Answer:Took it to the dealer, told them the problem. That was Mon. May 15.I'm thinking I'd have it back Fri. or Sat.Called me Tues.It was ready.Just needed to adjust the carb.Best $10 I ever spent.

I feel so foolish, but relieved. After still dealing with my weedeater just cutting off and/or slowing down and stopping,I decided to do some adjusting myself. So I adjusted the idle speed and lo-speeds.Afterwards cleaning off the spark plug. Here's the A HA!! moment...spark plug was loose as a goose.Tightened it,and shot just a lil carb cleaner on the air filter, and with a half pull,it fired right up.So basic PM'ing is always good.
