I have a well used FS25/4 (four stroke) which is in need of some TLC.

1. Is there a workshop manual available?

2. I believe it's a honda engine does any one know which one it is.

I have a Honda main dealer 10 minutes away so spares should be OK once I know the engine type.

Thanks

Thanks for the info, a GX22 it is then.

I assume they used Honda engines when the initially went over to pure 4 strokes.

Of course they didn't use them for very long before going over to the 4 mix engines, which I assume they make themselves?

I have a variety of honda 4 strokes (GX etc) for my cement mixer, water pump and generator and its easy to see that the engine is either a Honda or heavily Honda based.

I'll dismantle at the end of the season and get my local Honda dealer to obtain the necessary spares.

It may appear like a Honda but it is purely a stihl made engine. Your local stihl dealer can print off the manual for you if need be.
