Starts, runs, but quits under load.

Kohler engine starts easy, runs smooth and rides around the yard with no problem. Engage mower deck and it quits. Spark plug or spark plug wire? Ideas?

It would really help your cause if you told us which of the multitude of Kohler engines you have. Post model and spec numbers of the engine.
