Starter Pawl and Spring Correct Placement in Cup

I took the starter assembly off to find the starter pawl had popped out and was broken. I am replacing the plastic pawl and spring. I am not sure how to put the spring on. I can find no diagrams. Also, once I figure out the spring install, which direction shout the pawl be in the cup ? Vertical or at a 90 degree angle ? Pictures are always best for me. This is in a Echo HCR 1500. Thanks for any help.

Here is a (long) youtube video clip... Not the perfect detail of what you want but it shows the relationship the pawl will be to the assembly... the spring will only go in one way and hold the pawl in to engage the rope rotating catch, so that should be no problem... :Echo PB-500H Starter Pawl Install - YouTube
