Smoke Coming Out of Breather

I have a Tecumseh engine on a Craftsman mower. The model of the engine is 143.955500. As the engine runs, it continually smokes out the crankcase breather tube. The smoke isn't heavy, but it is noticeable and smells of burned oil. I have recently changed the oil, and it shows up in the middle of the "OK" range on the dipstick. I think the smoke increases as the engine warms up, but I haven't confirmed it. The engine does not smoke heavily out the muffler except when I prime it too much, so the muffler is not clogged. Any ideas?

Most any mower I have worked on the crankcase breather tube go's into the air cleaner and then the engine take care of them fumes. Just maybe it came loose from the air cleaner?

I didn't see a place to connect it on the air filter.
