well I picked her up back at the start of February and have been slowly working on it. had to wait on a solenoid and when they came the starter nut stripped so had to wait on that

Model # 197-257030

Im at the point of trying to get the carb tuned in then to fix up the plow mount(tighten it all up and weld some washers in to fix some slop)

I got the idle somewhat set on this OH140 engine (Tecumseh 14 hp) but I cant get a smooth idle and there's a valve tap

Also when I try to speed it up it does nothing at all.

So my question is how to I get this trouble some carb tuned in?

I would start by checking all the governor links and springs are fitted and working.

Please read the manuals that Rivets posted, if you are sure about the links from gov to carb are working, you may need to clean out the carb again.

read them over with no luck, the WHG carb that was listen in the pdf's was different then mine. I have 3 screws on 1 side, 1 for throttle stop another closer to the engine and 1 that points down into the bowl(will get pics) going to try another good cleanout and see what happens.
