this is my first time on the forum so hello to all. today i was cutting the grass with my walk behind rear wheel drive power propelled 22" multi cut craftsman model#917.374540 when the drive cable snapped from the bottom of the mower. i see i can buy the whole Control.ez.2 assembly Part #: 434776 for $46.99 from sears. my question is how do i get to the drive mechanism to hook up the cable. the cable comes down from the hand control right through the top of the metal housing of the mower. when flip the mower over i can not see how to get to the assembly to unhook the cable cover and hook the new one up. i hope this makes sense. any help would be appreciated the mower is only 3 years old, and i don't want to buy a new one.
