I agree. It's just like anything else you lock up ( car, home, out buildings, etc..). It's just to ease your mind and make someone go that extra mile to get into your belongings.

I think everyone or most everyone will go through the same basic process with locking the doors on their house before going to bed and maybe set the alarm system and locking up their car although I know a lot of people who do not do either. I leave my truck in the drive at night and it's locked but I don't go to extremes, that's why I have Homeowners Insurance to cover everything.

I think they where not just asking about securing a push mower from theft but also some way to keep it from rolling around on the trailer as well.

It all depends on where you live and what environment you grew up in. I'm sure it has been a long while if at all that you had to struggle with money and live in low income neighborhoods. Some people forget what it is like.

That's excatly it... I grew up in this heighborhood its bad lots of thieves lol

For my 2014 trailer setup I need a way to secure my push mower(s) in between lawns. I will be going pretty slow, so it doesn't need to be much, though.

I was thinking about getting something like this, but I think $35 is too expensive for a piece of metal! Jungle Jim's Accessory Products | Transport Lockdowns | Jungle Boot Small

Any homemade designs, or should I use bungee cords or something?

Merry Christmas!

personally, I use ratchet straps for securing almost all of my equipment on my trailer, but my suggestion is to go with what you are comfortable with..
