PTO shuts off on RZT 42

I will be mowing forward and when I stop to go back the PTO shuts off as it should, but when I go forward again, it does not engage. I would have to take both control sticks and move them away to the rest position and then back it it would start up again until I need to go reverse. Any help?

Sounds like the reverse switch is sticking.
