parking brake

I have a husqvarna 46" rider M# yt h22v46 , I have 55 hours on it, i was mowing the lawn, stopped and set the parking brake now it will not release i have tried ever where to find an in shop break down repair manual but no luck ," can you help me ? thanks John

This is a recording.

The brake is part of the transaxel not the mower
You will find it behind one of the rear wheels ( usually right )
It is a small disc about 3" diameter.
Crud gets behind it and causes it to bind on.
Take some photos then undo the 2 bolts at the end of the caliper, do not touch the one in the middle. that is the adjuster & adjusting them is a PIA.
Take good note of where & how the return spring goes.
Behind the brake pucks are little metal shims try not to loose them .
Knock the pins out & clean them up but do not tube with grease.
Use dry chain lube from a push bike shop

Bert, I think he is talking about the parking brake linkage which is under the frame, under the dash area. If he would give us the husky model number it would be of more help than doing multiple posting with the same info. How about it red?

Could be All I really noticed was it was a double post.
It would be a good trick to build up enough debris to jamb the brake in 55 hours.
