I have a craftsman 5 hp chipper that has a Tecumseh engine, The carb was bad so I got a new one on ebay. The new one has a spot for what I believe to be a vacuum line and the old carb does not. What should I do with this vacuum, do I find a way to plug it or leave it alone. The engine is a HS50 model. Any help would be great

Thanks
Doug

It is most likely an input from the engine crankcase breather tube.
your motor must not have had one. At the very least plug it.
You say it is a HS50, but what is the rest? (67000, 67000A, etc.)
You can get a break down @ Partstree.com
