My ZD326P wont shut off!

Nothing i do will shut off the engine! I have to turn off the fuel and starve it to kill it. What shuts off these diesel engines?

my zd 326s has a fuel shut off lever(manual shut off) directly below(on same shaft)as the throttle linkage.just take your finger and push lever toward rear of lawnmower and hold till engine shuts off.

my diesel lawn mower has an electric solenoid that shuts off fuel and kills engine. My solenoid went bad and would not lever the fuel shut off. previous owner by passed with a cable thru fire wall

I guess thats why they call it dieseling. :laughing::laughing:
The key.
Eliminate the airflow or fuelflow as you are doing to the motor and it will not run.
