My John Deere LA 145 Mower is blowing oil from the sump gasket, does anyone know if this is common, and is there a fix besides pulling the motor and then the sump?

To answer your question,,, NO
However if you monitor it carefully you should be able to run till the end of the season when you will have the time to do the job properly & not have to rush through cause the lions in the long grass have eaten the dog :laughing:
