Mower dies when blade engaged sometimes immediately

Well if I have no idea which wires are what I would chase them back to see what they were connected to before I start disconnecting stuff willy nilly.
Take the blower housing off and follow the thin wire on the coil.

I pulled the black wire ran to magneto. It ran fine for a while no deck engagement problem . now it seems after it runs for about 30 mins it stalls and won't start again until it sits for about an hr. What does that point towards bad magneto?

You got it.
The module inside the magneto is failing when it get hot.
When it cools down ( 30 minutes) it will work again.
Double check by testing for a spark at the plug when the mower cuts out with that wire still disconnected.
Also check the engine side of that wire.
In running mode, brake off, bum in seat PTO turned on the wire should be open .
Bum off seat Pto on and the wire should go ground
As per the previous post.
