Motor just dies--taking a break maybe

3 year old 22 inch bolens walk behind. 5hp briggs engine. It starts and runs fine for 30-40 minutes then just stops,no reason. Give it a few minutes break then it starts right up. Any ideas on what to check??

Check the air flow under the shrouds covering the engine... It sounds like it is not dumping the heat...
Three years us enough time to get air passages plugged up. It is after all an Air Cooled engine... :smile:KennyV

You might also want to check the gas tank vent and gas filter.
