California is holding their collective breaths waiting to see if there's going to be a riot because a BART officer was convicted today of involuntary manslaughter when many think it should have been first or second degree murder. The interesting thing to me is that I just wonder how big this would get if the media just shut up and went home. Instead, they've been covering this thing all afternoon. Lots of soundbites.

Those type cases are very tough on jurors.
And a lot of people want to know what is going on....
So it's good that it is getting coverage.
It is really bad when you want to know and everyone is afraid to report on the events.... KennyV :frown:

I should be a juror. I've never even heard of this. Too busy fiddling with this cell phone (which I almost have figured out). We don't have a tv that gets a signal though. Only a dvd player. Which is fine by me.
