I have a Duraforce 10525 that slows when I mow banks.

I mow the bank with Mufler side up , no problem, runs good.

I turn and go in the other direction, Muffler side down, and the Motor slows down, like you would ease the throttle back.

still runs good on return but with less throttle.

Any Help would great,

Thanks

May need to adjust float level as your carb sits to the rear of the engine. I have a F series with the carb side mounted that does the same thing sometimes when it is sloped to the left.

Agreed,
If to much fuel gets into the engine it will bog down, sound like it is girggling (run rich) and slow in rpm.
If it is running lean (lack of fuel) it will race and or serge.
I'd adjust the float to be just a hair leaner, a 1/16 or 1/32" less fuel in the bowl and try again..
