Searching on Jacks... for another part and stumbled accross 3 "hi temp cutout kits." I am not familiar with Kohler models so I'll describe the adds which look like they refer to model nos:
K 241-341/M10-16, M/MV 16-20 465-495F KT 17,19 K 582 $131 (instructs remove portion of head fin for clearance) was pn 2570301, is 2570301S.
CH/CVIL15, was pn 1270301 is1270301S $103 346-360F
CH/CV 18-25 was 2470301 is 2470301S $77 440-490F
The parts kit pictures are not clear, but first two above look like bolt (s) washers? switch?
The third looks like a Harley aftermarket kit with a coil of terminated wire (w conns) and a switch.
Anyone got 'em and how do they work. HAVE THEY SAVED YOUR MOTORS FROM HEAT DEATH? :anyone:
