i have a 1998 Snapper Z Rider Pro Cruiser with Kohler Commmand (Horizontal Xhaft) that idles and runs rougher (like a higher lift cam) . I also have A 1997 Snapper Z2205 KV with a Vertical Kohler Commmand engine with the same hp 22 and it runs smooth a idle. Whats the difference that I am missiong or is it a change in cam?

From one year to the next there could be major changes to the engine. Different carb jets, different camshaft, different piston, different timing, different idle speed.

Thank for the reply. Its the difference in 1997 to 1998 and newer Commands. Have a buddy with a 1998 Exmark and it runs rougher just like my 1998. They must have made some big changes.
