kawasaki stops firing

Ok guys a friend has a ferris with a kawasaki FX1000V DFI.Thats all the #'s he gave me.The problem is it will run a while and just shut down just like switching key off.Right after it shut down he pulled the plugs and no fire.But after a while it will start again run a few then die.He replaced the electric fuel pump with a vacuum pump but still same problem.could it be a grounding issue or safety switch.Oh yeah its 1 year old.any help is appreciated.Thanks,

he did changed fuel pump before he checked for fire

If it has coils try cooling them .
