kaw fh641v wiring??

I have husqavarna zero turn with a 21hp Kawasaki vtwin with bad rings I believe cause I replaced the head gaskets and vavle seals and it still smokes.. But I have a 16hp Briggs motor that is perfect how hard would it be to wire the Briggs motor up so that everything works I don't want to spend the money to re ring the Kawasaki if the Briggs will work..
