Hi Folks,

new to this forum. just picked up a 2 year old eXmark Turf Tracer with a 60" Fab deck. she seems not too much the worse for the wear, with about 950 hours on her. this ole work horse is getting turned out to pasture, so to speak. i'll likely use her only about 6 to 8 or maybe 10 hours per week here in the wooded hills of the Hoosier National Forest. will be mowing some mostly open trails in a field along a creek, plus keeping some areas around buildings cleared on some slopes. may also use her on some waterways/diversions that are best kept mowed.

never had a walk behind before, let alone a Turf Tracer. i guess i will find out if this kind of tool is as good on sloped ground as i have, so far, been lead to believe. i have the little velke cart/sulkie for it and so that will be another new experience.

i'll try and check back in and let y'all know how things are working.

here are the particulars of her:
eXmark model no.: TTX20KCE
engine Kohler model: CV640 with build date 11/18/10
Deck model: FMD604

anyone with experiences or knowledge to share, i am open to the good, the bad and the ugly.
it is all news to me.

all the best,

Here are couple of pics of her still loaded on my little 5/10 trailer. learned that the 60" deck DOES NOT just drive onto this 60" wide trailer. TOO BIG by about 3/4". that's why the deck is 'riding' on top of the deck arms. should be fun getting it off of there today, since i don't have a forklift or other hoist device. that's what friends and neighbors are for, right, to help each other when needed.

so, i will go ahead and ask a question of those eXmark specialists here: what are the best sources for parts, etc. i am used to working on stuff with the help of an owner's manual, but one was not available from the source where i purchased this. where do i get one of those?
