Why would the trans-axle on my 2000 445 with 750 hrs be super hot after mowing. I don't remember it running that hot in the past?? It's almost to hot to touch .. It smells hot ..I bought the mower new - I'm the only owner and I've taken care of this mower - I've had it service before 2013 summer including the Hydro-oil and filter. It doesn't seem to affect the operation of the mower when cutting grass - but when I shut the mower off it does shutter when moving slow. Could the Hydro-static clutches be slipping ???
