I tried to find the solution but as I'm a noob I couldn't so posting this as it may help someone else.
I couldn't pull the orange lock button up.
This happened all of a sudden as it had been working.
It turns out the bolt that the cam, that lock the brake in the on position, had somehow tightened up.
I loosened it a bit and hey presto, problem fixed.
