After you adjust valves, turn it over by hand to ensure everything works smoothly. Then button it up and give it a try. Oh yes I forgot. Make sure the pivot stud for the rocker arm is tighten down into the engine before you adjust valves. good luck:thumbsup:

Take off the valve cover and take a peek at things. Watch the rocker arm action while turning the engine over by hand. look for sticking valve and see if the valves both move @ the same depth when engaged.

I said this because I was thinking that you may have a wiped out cam lobe, which is why I suggested you compare the amount of movement of each rocker arm. Check that after you adjust the valves, also make sure that the stud hasn't backed out.
