My 1985 MTD looks ok but I would prefer bigger wheels. I like the old looking style with big wheels but my mower has small wheels which don't look good. How would I go about putting bigger wheels on. I don't have any welding equipment so I can't make my own hub. Is there anywhere where I could buy a hub which could bolt on to my axle that I could add a set of quad bike wheels on too. Or could I just get some larger tyres that would give them that look. My mower has wheels which are about 5 inches wide but I would prefer wider so would I need new wheels for a wider tyre?
