Hi Guy's,

Names Glenn and really like this forum. I have been wondering around the back ally's of this forum for some time but now I am ready to meet and greet.

Who else is here from Australia? KennyV, are there any Aussies here?

Cheers
Glenn

Well hello back,i aint from Down under either but that don't matter.
We talk to anybody.

I seen an nature program the other day about a very tiny Ausie marsupial, looks like a mouse,it lives on nectar it gets from flowers.
Aparently the male has the biggest testicals for its size of the entire animal world, they're huge.
We men would have them the size of watermelons in comparison

The salty is a 'salt water crocodile
If you had followed the TV series " crocodile hunter"(Steve Irwin) you would've known.

Kind of like a "buck in rut".

I've heard him call fresh water crocs, "Freshies".
I don't recall the "salty" vernacular.
He was a good man, it was a shame for him to die.
I enjoyed his show. I was always puzzled, when he would handle those deadly venomous snakes. I always thought that would be the way he would go. Seemed senseless to pick up a snake that could kill you in the blink of an eye. it always made me nervous and I did not enjoy watching that part of the show.
It seems that all of the aussies nature show types are wired that way. They like to get bit I suppose.

I never heard them called freshies.
These crocs swim in the ocean as well as in the rivers, they've been hundreds of miles out in the ocean, hence the nickname salty.

Yeah i thought he took big risks as well, but he knew what he was doing i guess, but one can dodge the bullet only so long.
The stingray that did him in,..he never seen that coming.
