I have the opportunity to perhaps buy a mid 90's GTX 16 with a snow blower. The only Troy-Bilt equipment I have is a horse tiller from the early 70's and it's bullet proof. Was Troy-Bilt an MTD company by the mid 90's and if so is that necessarily a bad thing as compared to the old Troy-bilts? I have used this machine to blow snow and it really is impressive. Starts like a charm in zero degree weather. Just wondering how reliable they are/were, if well maintained, and how hard or expensive parts are to obtain.
Thanks for any advice and info.
