Finally had some time to use my new Gravely. I mowed just a little in my front yard the other day and felt the mower was very rough riding. Today, I lowered the tire pressure a bit and that really seemed to make a big difference. I am very happy with the way the mower handled the hills. I almost always mow up and down between the house and the pond. Which puts me doing a u turn back up the hill. My Swisher did ok at this but struggled, the Gravely did much better. Mowing time seems to have dropped from 3.5 hrs to 3.2 hrs which is good considering I went from a 66in to a 60in. Also, it started to sprinkle as I was mowing which made the grass a bit wet, mower still seemed to stick to the ground better than I had expected.
This is just part of my "back" yard. Close to this much in the front. Tomorrow I hit the daughters house down the road, she has just and acre and a half so won't take as long. Overall, mark me as thrilled!
