I have a Ferris IS4000 zero turn with the 31hp briggs engine. The oil pressure/coolant temp alarm goes off after maybe 5 minutes of run time. The oil pressure and coolant sensors test fine. I do not know how much oil pressure it has only that the sensor is activating when it is started and both are ok when I check them with the alarm activated.
I was told to change the PTO switch last summer when this happened and it did fix the problem. Could this switch be bad again or is there something else that I should be checking.
Thanks, blowertech

What is the model number on your engine ??? I can do some research for you.........
Here is some more fun information. Saturday it took 5min to have the alarm come on. I checked the oil psi and temp sensors. They check out ok. Unhooked the alarm itself and the warning lights came on in 5min. I mowed for 2 hours with the light on. I just mowed today for 30min and the lights stayed off.
