I have a Briggs & Stratton 20HP engine in a MTD Huskee brand mower. The battery was dead so I was charging it. I attempted to start it after a couple of hours but it still wasn't charged enough and turned over very slow.
I turned the key to the "off" position but the engine continued to turn very slowly. I had to disconnect the battery in order for it to stop. I am thinking I have a bad ignition switch possibly?
