Dixie Chopper shear pins in Hub

For the fourth time in a month, our Chopper has a broken hub shear pin. Anybody have similar issues before?

For the fourth time in a month, our Chopper has a broken hub shear pin. Anybody have similar issues before?

More times than not, this is caused by not correctly tightening the hub to spec. If this continues, you might just wear the taper to the point that the hub won't seat correctly on the shaft anymore.
