I have a Cub Cadet XT1 with a Kohler 7000 series engine with about 130 hours on it. Brought it in the garage to refill the fuel and haven't been able to get it restarted since. Took off the Air Filter and noticed the butterfly on the choke would not open at all. Seems stuck. I tried to manually open it but it wouldn't budge. Recently performed the annual maintenance on it. New oil, plugs, fuel filter, air filter. Battery is fully charged. Engine turns over but never fires. Please help.

read through operators manual, double check park brake on, PTO off, check wiring by hand making sure connections are tight & secure.

If you mower has a single control for both choke & throttle, check to see that it has not slipped through the anchor clip.
