Cub Cadet GT1554 just quit moving

I have a 2009 Cub Cadet GT1554 riding mower.
I was mowing the grass today when I felt a pop and the mower just quit moving forward or reverse.
I removed the seat cawling and see that 3 springs are still attached and when I press forward or reverse things move.
Any ideas what might have happened.
