Mower deck CTH173 spur gears

Hi all.
The spur gears have lost 4 teeth each, so I'm looking for new ones.
The new part no. 587934801 and original, 532 41 53-56 cost around $7 each, but in the UK I've been quoted £37 each ($50)
Any ideas why such a difference?????
Is it the same part?
Please help.

Egomaniac , meglamaniac morons who outbid each other for the exclusive distribution rights thus end up paying substantially more than the franchise is worth.
To recoup their losses they charge exorbedent prices for spare parts .
thus they win both ways
1) you pay the grossly inflated prices on parts
or
2) you go & buy a new mower from which they make even more money.

Dig deep & you will find a little cartel of 1/2 dozen players who control the entire mower market.
Previously they blamed the EEC but in reality it was greed all along.

SO stick it up them & buy the parts from an online merchant like Jacks Small engines who are nice enough to be one of the sponsors of this forum.
