Craftsman Riding mower smoking

I have a 2 year old riding mower, Craftman RER 1000. This thing has been more trouble then its worth. It is starting to smoke while in use. Lots of smoke! I don't know a darn thing about engines and Sears Home service is useless!! HELP!

Lets start with getting us the make and model of the engine. there are just too many engines to just guess. that information location will vary depending on who made the engine.;

While sending the model info look at the exhaust pipe and muffler to see if they are taking on oil during operation. If it is a V the valve cover can leak causing smoking.
