Hi all, new to the forum. I'm rebuilding the deck on my craftsman LT 1000, 16 hp, 42 in cut mower. This mower is approx 1998 - 2000 I think. I have a question about one of the pulleys. I highlighted it on the attached diagram. My questions is whether this should be tightened down to be stationary, or should it slide back and forth. I've seen repair videos giving conflicting information. Underneath the assembly is a bushing that makes it seem that it should slide freely, but it makes more sense to me that it remain stationary. Thanks.
