blade brake squels when engaged

Worked on a 10132 with the duraforce engine on Sunday and when all was done I went to shut it off and the blade brake squels loudly.Is there an adjustment for that?

I don't believe there is an adjustment for the cable, but the 'brake pad' might be worn or gone.
