https://www.briggsandstratton.com/us/en/support/manuals/results?NTT=405577-0116* manual & parts, your engine. See page 8 regarding carb. adjustment. In the future post all numbers from mower & engine data plates, thanks. Check air filter for replacement, lube all moving parts at carb. including throttle cable.

In order to locate proper carb. or rebuild kit for your engine you will need to have all numbers from engine data plate: model xxxxxx, type xxxx, trim xx, code xxxxxxx. Do not forget new gaskets.

Clean underside of deck, remove blades clean & inspect blades for cracks, wear, & if they need to be replaced. If blades look good you can dress cutting edges up with a file then check blade balance, reinstall & torque to Snapper specs.

Thank you very much for information.
The problem is a little different.
I have a mower Snapper ELT 1838 RDF.
When mowing grass clog discharge.
I wonted to try to increase top speed from 2700 rpm to 3000 rpm to improve the ejection of grass.
I have a tachometer and tang bender, but I don't now, what to bend.
Sorry for my english.
