I've a Toro Recycler that won't start when the engine is hot...

Unless I use some Quick Start, then it will start up and remain running.

It starts when cold without issue.

It does have the auto-choke which seems to be working properly. Closed when cold, open when warm. I've done the due-diligence things of changing the spark plug, cleaning the carb, exorcising demons. I think I even swapped out the carb bowl, float, pin, etc at some point.

I am a self-taught DIYer who skipped most of my own classes so now I'm mostly just confused and left with the plaintive cry of "Work, you bastard" (incidentally, doesn't help).

I'm looking to get it working properly so I can sell it so solutions that involve the least amount of labor/parts are preferred. I don't want to stick someone with a problem lawnmower. I mean, if the fix is going to cost more than the difference in selling it as is...

Any suggestions appreciated. Well, MOST suggestions.

Thanks

Addendum: It's model 128M02-0133-F1, Dated June 2014. Though the problems started last year or the year before. I got a temporary mower and then left this one.

Usually it will be a problem with the auto choke, closing too early
