6.5hp Briggs wont start properly

OK, But this thing ran fine before the guy hit something with it.

Which then takes you back to the flywheel magnets. Its very unusual but has happened.
It all depends what checks you have done.
Checking with spark tester with engine running would be my 1st check. (if it does)
A leakdown test on the compression components for sealing would be my next check.
Also what happens if you run a new earth wire to the coil? Maybe the wire is chaffed through or on/off switch faulty.
These are all ideas and have to be elliminated.

start/stop switch works. Kills engine when I get it running. Starts easier when cold or warm after sitting shut off for awhile.
