Need to know if their is a bolt on carb for running an external gas tank. Dont want a fancy carb. Can fab an adapter if someone know one compatible with the displacement. Must have adjustable jet if possible. Also as an experiment made a Bosch platinum fusion plug I had laying around fit. Straight Piped runs excellent atm but not enough clearance for tank. 20160915_202100.jpg20160915_201959.jpg20160915_202111.jpg

Yes there is a ready to bolt on carb for use with a remote fuel tank.
GO to the Briggs web site and download the parts diagram for your engine.
You will need the model and type numbers from your engine.
The carby section will list all of the carbs that were fitted to that engine.
The numbers will have changed but if you google the numbers you find in the parts book you wil find plenty of alternative carbs.
When you find a few post your engine number and the parts numbers of the carbs you are intending to fit .
Some of the people on this list are in th trade & have access to the B &S power portal so can double check it for you.
