24 hp briggs and stratton on riding mower

We have a poulan pro 24 hp. We have changed the carburetor, fuel filter, fuel pump and spark plugs. Runs great when starts up but then it sarts to sputter have to pull the choke to keep it running. Any thoughts on what could be wrong

Sounds like a carburetor problem. Post Model xxxxxx, Type xxxx, Trim xx, & Code xxxxxxx numbers from engine. Make sure gas tank is clean, no debris or trash buildup, fuel lines are clean. Pick up B&S or Star Tron Fuel Treatment to mix with empty gas can per instructions on bottle. I prefer using 93 octane gasoline in everything I own, you may choose otherwise. Fuel Treatment removes Ethanal deposits, & prevents gumming up & leaving varnish buildup in your mowers fuel system. Let us know how it goes, thanks Mark
Check Air Filter for replacement. Adjust valves with engine cold.
B&S Technician performs valve adjustment correctly, no guesswork involved. Different engine & possible specs. may be different but procedure is performed per manual.
