024 AV chainsaw

My dad gave me his old 024 AV saw, tried to start it but nothing, anyone got a somewhat detailed disassembly/assembly manual? I jumped the gun and started taking it apart, now i cant get it back together.

y2, I have the paperback chainsaw repair manual . Is that the brand name?

Yah, its a stihl, and on the chainsaw it says 024 AV electric stop. The manual would be a great help! Do you know of any chilton type manuals for stihl saws?

OKThe paperback by Clymer "Chain Saw" 10th edition Primedia 1999 . 612 pp, Stihl section shows models 024AV with two additional suffix alphas, e.g., AVE, AVEQ. AVSEQ on and on. Look for more sffix alphas and advise. The blow ups are small , but better than nothing. If you can screen up on amazon sometimes you can page into the book. Otherwise advise.
