That’s the one I looked up but can’t find any real info on it. Oh, that's the one that was on the engine but it doesn't fit the key hole and I cut the wires to extend them to the dash. If worse comes to worse I can install a separate on/off switch along with the other that I already have.

Does anyone have a link to an aftermarket ignition switch that has ground to run? I repowered a Terramite backhoe but in need of a switch. I picked up a stems that has ground and M but when it is in the run position it breaks the ground.

I have a 2015 Scag TT with a cat diesel and a fellow offered to trade a new gasser even on it but I refused. I have the diesel because my tractor is diesel and the only gas needed is 2 gallon of 2 cycle per year for the weed eater.

I rebuilt a pump for an Allmand Brothers backhoe but only got an additional 20 or so psi and had to bite the bullitt and have one made $1200

Since the pump bearing is bad I ordered a new pump , flushed the system and blew out the lines put it back together with fresh oil and filter. Everything is working like new again !!

I also replaced the left hydro pump.

Did you solve the mystery?

I’m hoping the spin on filter caught the particles but I did flush the rest of the system with diesel fuel.

Well, I took the pump apart and found that the bearing cage is destroyed and half the bearings have dropped which explains the the forward/reverse stick not going all the way back and probably the erratic behavior. I'll try to get a picture.

Do you think the pump and wheel motor are bad?

Machine is older (2015) maintenance has been kept up but the machine shares the same reservoir and I'm hoping the filter caught any other particles. I now believe it is the pump.

The level is up where it should be and the color isn't bad so I stuck a magnet in the reservoir and it came out full of metal shavings. Also I noticed when in the operator station the left drive stick wont pull fully to the rear without a lot of force and when I start the engine it stays engaged...

well after fooling with it it seems to only like reverse and is sort of stuck in it and can go backwards if I take it real easy. I'm thinking wheel motor.

Turf Tiger started left hydro starrted to whine and now is very jumpy even in neutral position. Anyone with ideas???

I do believe the oil is to be 3" below the cap when full

I wouldn't give over $1400 and that depends on condition.

you can also find them by size, that's what I had to do on my Allmand backhoe

I'm old fashoned and like to fix things but I would see what the cost would be before I throw to much $$ but it might be you need to dig in further to investigate it sure won't hurt to keep at it.

I would look up the part numbers.

It looks like 10,11 and 18 have been replaced

I took the steering apart and the part number 19 where No. 1 goes through is wallowed out, I guess I can have it welded or a washer welded to no. 19 since it is no longer available. I recon it's part of the "throw away world".

I have an older Hobart 150 wire welder so I welded it back but this time I put a bead on the inside of the bracket also. I'm not skilled at welding and it doesn't look the best but we will see how long it last this time around. Also it bolts to the engine.

My 28 hp Cat diesel muffler broke at the bend in the bracket for the second time anyone else have a similar problem? I had it welded the first time. Scag wants $357.80 for a new muffler!!!

Looking for a dust ejector for scag air filter assy. 483485 it seems to be a 1-1/4 inch opening maybe a little less. I did get one from amazon for a Kawasaki but it is too large.

I have an older STT with a 28hp cat diesel that I really like. I purchased the diesel because I have a John Deere compact tractor and a couple transfer tanks and I have no need for much gasoline.

Makes sense to me.

maybe lower your tire pressure, my Turf Tiger will slide on hills especially when wet I have AT101 tires.

Update: Went ahead and decided to see if I could fix the leak without taking anything else apart and found that it was only a plug with an O ring so I replaced the O ring and put a little axle grease on it before I installed it. No Leaks!!! BTW I really like the Turf Tuger Diesel even though...
