    My ariens 17.5 lawn tractor will not engage the blades for cutting...what could be the problem????

    Briggh & Stratton will not start

    I have a 2014 ariens lawn tractor (briggs & stratton engine) it will only start if i remove the air filter ang hold ny hand against th air intake..once starter it runs rough at first bou settles down and will continue to run until i shut it off...what might be the problem. mod nbr is 31R907
