Drove to far, spent to much money, but...

5200 Brick top and a 5235. The 5235 has an intact s/d plate and even a bagging chute. It's been a while since I have been in this forum. Hopefully I will have more free time soon. I am in the middle if restoring my 5006 now. Can't wait to get it done!!!!

Scored a stack of these patches over the weekend.

I found a really good deal on a pair of light weight, work jackets over the weekend. Downside was that they have another company's logo embroidered on them. It just so happened that I found a killer deal on 8 of these patches. A perfect fit!

Hi everyone. I have a 1966 Landlord 101 (10 hp Single cylinder, Cast iron Briggs) At some point I am going to a full restoration on it. I would like to equip it with as many options as I can. It has a hydraulic lift. I have a 2-speed pulley for it. (990348) It is missing the engagement lever...

It's not a Lawn-Boy, but still thought it was worth a mention. Flymo

I picked this up last week. It was covered in an inch of dirt and fuzz. After I cleaned it up I realized that it doesn't look like it has seen that much grass, if any. I didn't clean any grass off it. The spark plug is the original one, still has the brown overspray on it from Tecumseh...

    Powder Coating Anyone?

I am going to start a restoration on one of my 5006 brick tops in the next week or 2. I am considering looking into powder coating the deck and shroud. I haven't went this route before. I'm just curious if anyone else has been through this process and what their experience has been? Is it cost...

Simplicity Push Mower similar to Lawn-Boy mowers????

While I am slightly obsessed with Lawn-Boy mowers, a few of my friends have the same admiration for old Simplicity garden tractors. One of them ended up with his grandfather's old push mower. Just so happens it is a Simplicity model 1221. I looked at it and the first thing that came to my...

Got started on the 1014 edger today

Now that the 6302 is done, on to the next. Found this at a second hand store in Penn. The paint is pretty scruffy, but the engine is sound. I am still going to tare it down and inspect everything. It will probably end up with new gaskets and oil seals at a minimum. The wheels should clean up...

    Reviving an old 6302

I am new to the "forum" game, so this is my first actual "thread". I am not new to Lawn-Boys though. I caught that bug a few years ago. I have bought and sold more than I could begin to count. I have been repairing small engines for a few years now. I did the Briggs school and got my MST...
