    Underwater Saw

Anyone know of a limb saw that would work underwater? I have a bunch of saplings that are 3' or so deep. I have a Greenworks 40v, but I'm leery of submerging the blade.

    Chainsaw starts and then dies

I have a T435 Husqvarna chainsaw. After the engine has been running awhile, it dies. It will starts right back up, but won't stay running. From what I read, this is a common problem. I've watched fixit tips on Youtube , but everyone had a differnet solution. Does anyone know how to fix...

    Value of Mower?

I have a 5 year old Hustler Raptor, 42 inch cut, with a Kawasaki motor. It's been well maintained, and is in good condition. I'm moving, and don't need the mower anymore. What should I ask for it? I paid 3,000 for it new.

    Push lawn mower

Are push mowers with the Kohler engine a good buy? Wallmart has them at a fair price, and I'm looking to get away from a Briggs engine. Also, how does Kohler compare to Honda in the push-mower department?

    Wix filters

I have a 3-year-old Hustler Raptor with a 42" cut. Does anyone have the Wix numbers for the oil and air filters?

    Rototiller question

I'm not sure tiller questions are answered here, but I thought I'd give it a try. I'm looking for a mini-tiller, and Mantis seems to be a good brand. My question is, should I go for the 2 or 4 cycle engine?

New Briggs design has me stumped

I inherited a 2011 model , Briggs push mower. It's a Platinum series, 191cc motor with 7.25 ft lbs torque. Initially, the mower ran for an hours of so, then died and will not re-start. I've tried new plug and new gas. I can pull the air filter, squirt in some carb spray, and she will fire...

    RAMPS

Anyone have any advice on using ramps to load a riding mower into the bed of a pickup truck? I've never done this, and it looks to me like a guy could get into some difficulty if things didn't go right.

    SRM-210 attachment

What do you suggest instead of weed-eater line for tougher weeds? I'm looking for something easy to install.

    Low fuel pressure on Hustler

I have a 2013 Hustler with the FR65TV Kawasaki engine. I'm not getting enough fuel pressure to the carb. I've checked all the lines, filter, and in-tank screen. Anything else I can check before I call the dealer? The grass is growing and I need to mow

    Low fuel pressure

I have a 2013 with a 42" cut. I'm not getting enough fuel pressure, and I've decided it must caused by trash in the tank. Is there a screen or sock over the inlet inside and fuel tank, and if so, how do you get to it? I've blown back through the fuel line until the fuel in the tank bubbled...

    Second push mower chute

I recently overheard a barstool conversation about an old model Snapper push mower a man got for $10 at a garage sale. He said it started and ran like a charm, but unless the grass was perfectly day, it wouldn't feed through the discharge chute. He's handy with a welder, so his plan is to cut...

    Ryobi Mini-tiller 410r

When I pull the starter rope, the engine acts like it's hydrolocked. This is not the problem, since I don't have the fuel tank mounted. I can remove the plug, and she spins freely. The tiller has always done this, some times worse than others. Anyone know what's going on? I understand this...

    Ryobi tiller problem

The plastic fuel lines and mounting hardware on my ryobi tiller became brittle. When I went back with new lines, I couldn't figure out a way to fasten them without leaking from the bottom of the plastic tank. I can't find the mounting hardware anywhere, or even a photo of what it looked like...

    Weedeater line question

What happens to weedeater line as you use it? Does it dissolve into a powder or liquid, break away into little pieces and fly off, or what? I've never seen any traces on the ground.

    MOwing wet grass

The man at the mower shop told me that mowing wet grass will cause the belt that turns the blade to stretch. My idea is that an el cheapo belt might, but a top-quality belt shouldn't. Anyone know for sure?

    Urban legend?

I've always heard that a push mower with a Briggs engine will not start with the blade removed. I suppose I could go out, pull the blade, and try it myself, but it's too darn hot. Is this a tall tale, or is there some truth in it?

    Briggs 5HP push mower smokes

I turned my 5-HP Briggs push mower on it's side to change the blade. Now that dude smokes like a run-away locomotive. The smoke rolls out of the exhaust so thick that I can not see the grass. I mowed several minutes thinking the oil would burn off, but the plug fouled first. This morning when...
